เป็นเรื่องน่าเศร้าของวงการอนิเมชั่นญี่ปุ่นอีกครั้ง เมื่อนักทำอนิเมชั่นฝีมือดีคุณ Kanada Yoshinori ต้องมาเสียชีวิตลงจากอาการหัวใจวาย ด้วยวัยเพียง 57 ปีเท่านั้น ซึ่งนับว่าเป็นเรื่องน่าเีสียดายอย่างมาก จากผลงานของเขาไม่ว่าจะเป็น Galaxy Express 999 หรือ Toward the Terra การ์ตูนวิทยาศาสตร์ในช่วงยุค 70-80 รวมถึงการได้ร่วมงานอีกหลายชิ้นกับผู้กำกับรางวัลออสกาส์ Miyazaki Hayao กับผลงานสร้างชื่อ Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind หรือ Luputa เป็นต้น
นอกจากนี้แล้วคุณ Kanada ยังคิดค้นสไตล์ในด้านศิลปะไว้มากมาย ซึ่งถูกยกย่องด้วยชื่อของ Kanada เอง เช่น “Kanada Perspective”(มุมมองสไตล์ Kanada), “Kanada Posing”(การตั้งท่าตัวละครสไตล์ Kanada), “Kanada Motion” (การเคลื่อนไหวสไตล์ Kanada) คุณ Kanada ได้มีอิทธิพลอย่างมากแก่นักทำอนิเมชั่นรุ่นหลัง จนถึงขนาดมีการตั้งกลุ่ม “Kanada Followers” ขึ้นมา
